Our Gubernatorial candidate forum, Youth Ask the Questions, was a huge success. In collaboration with Community Organizing Alliance and Young People’s Caucus, we hosted a full house at the Portland Media Center where young Mainers put the hard questions directly to Hannah Pingree, Shenna Bellows, Troy Jackson, Nirav Shah and Angus King III on the issues that matter most to them.

Hundreds of people joined the live stream which we broadcast across seven watch parties at college campuses and community centers throughout Maine. The energy was incredible, and we are already using what we learned to inform Maine Youth Power’s position and direction on the governor’s race.
